Testimonials
Remarkably, the Crocodile Challenge Cup has been instrumental in identifying many of our current national players. Notably, Izaac Quek, a standout talent, clinched the Crocodile Challenge Cup Singles title in the Primary 5/Primary 6 category in both 2017 and 2018. His journey continued with him achieving the No. 1 rank in the Under-15 boys' World Ranking in April 2021 and securing Team Silver at the 2022 Commonwealth Games. In a historic moment, Izaac Quek and his teammate Koen Pang broke into the top 100 of the men’s singles rankings in March 2023, becoming the first locally-born national table tennis players to do so. Izaac's exceptional performance at the 2023 SEA Games, where he secured three titles, solidifies his status as a rising star in the world of table tennis.
Another rising star, Zhou Jingyi, who also earned the Crocodile Challenge Cup Singles Championship in 2017, made history by becoming the youngest Singaporean to reach the top five in the Under-15 girls’ International Table Tennis Federation world ranking list in June 2018. Her remarkable ascent continued with her dominance in the SEA Junior & Cadet Table Tennis Championships from 2017 to 2019, accumulating five gold medals and three bronze medals across three editions. Her unique playing style as a shake-hand grip right-handed player adds versatility to the sport and strengthens Singapore's table tennis prowess. At the 2023 SEA Games, Zhou played a pivotal role in the women’s team, earning a team bronze medal and doubles silver medal, establishing herself as a prominent figure in Singaporean table tennis.
Izaac and Jingyi serve as prime examples of how exceptional talents are cultivated from an early age through dedicated training and subsequently go on to proudly represent Singapore on the world stage. This underscores the significance of nurturing table tennis skills from a young age, with Crocodile Foundation as a vital partner in this endeavour. We acknowledge that it is with the invaluable support from the Crocodile Foundation that we have achieved these remarkable milestones.
Crocodile Foundation’s contribution has not only allowed us to reach more individuals in need but has also contributed to improved timeliness in patients’ discharge, which, in turn, helps free up hospital beds for other patients in the queue.
Notably, their continual backing of the "Pay It Forward" programme has made a tangible difference in the lives of numerous elderly and vulnerable individuals residing in our Singaporean neighbourhood. Their commitment to our cause has been nothing short of remarkable.

When we ponder other people’s lives as linked to ours, the power of our empathy is sparked off and grows. That empathic quality of character holds true in CF’s vision and mission to address the challenge of health impoverishment in significant and measurable ways.
Under the auspices of CF and international Rotary partners, RC Silom has implemented five Rotary’s Global Grant humanitarian projects to donate essential medical equipment to numerous community hospitals. They include kidney dialysis machines, life-saving equipment used in the neonatal ICU wards, surgical equipment focusing on ENT, and optical biometry for IOL power calculation to benefit the elderly undergoing cataract surgery.
Thank you so much for your wonderful charitable programmes and exceptional generosity. It takes an organisation with a really big heart to do that. CF has indeed shown our needy patients and newborns in critical condition the true definition of kindness.

Since its inception, this programme has helped to improve the mental wellness of some 110 caregivers of children with special healthcare needs, by providing home-based counselling which reduces barriers to receiving mental wellness support as well as providing home-based respite care to enable caregivers to engage in self-care.
One of these caregivers is Mdm. Lee, who shares, “Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts for sponsoring us and helping us tide through very difficult times and situations. We are very grateful."

Thank you for being the bright light in their lives.
Tzu Chi Foundation’s partnership with other generous individuals and institutions such as the Crocodile Foundation facilitated the procurement and distribution of 108 units of HFNCs to 32 medical institutions in the Philippines. Some of the beneficiaries include the Philippine General Hospital (PGH) and Dr. Jose N. Rodriguez Memorial Hospital and Sanitarium (DJNRMHS) in Metro Manila.
“The requirement for ventilators and high-flow nasal cannulas is unparalleled and this required us to buy more units,” said PGH Director and neurosurgeon Gerardo “Gap” Legaspi. “The units that you are giving us already have patients waiting for them. This assistance of the Tzu Chi Foundation is really timely.”
Tzu Chi Foundation Philippines is eternally grateful to Crocodile Foundation and its Board. We will always remember the incredible strength of your generosity and compassion.
